The Overtures returned with a new '50 Years of the Cavern Club' show.
It gave them the opportunity to perform music from bands that played the Cavern Club from the 50's to the present day.
We were treated to some fantastic performances including songs ranging from Adele to the Arctic Monkeys as well as the usual 60's classics.
Support came from the incredibly talented violinist Alexandra Hill who unfortunately was backed by the incredibly poor Spinout, more was expected of a band with their pedigree!
Local former Blue Meanies 2 of Us performed a set of Beatles songs and were joined by former bandmate Gavin Pring & 'Ringo'.
